About Us 

Effective Applications was started by business partners Sheila Clinton and Bianca Clinton (pictured on the right). The partners of Effective Applications have together had years of experience qualified as Barristers and Solicitors in England, Wales and Ghana

Effective Applications is an outsourcing company with a conscience. We are global, ethical  and contribute to the world’s wealth in developed and developing countries.   

 

The partners of Effective Applications both have a stake in leading Intellectual Property firm Afrimark. At Afrimark, they provided a high level of service to a variety of clients that include multi-national firms, large corporate enterprises as well as established and listed companies, leading brands, household names and smaller enterprises. 

They decided to use their experience managing paralegals and administration staff to set up Effective Applications- Administration and Legal Outsourcing.

Called to the Bar Ghana – 1979

Admitted to practise in Sierra Leone – 1984

Picked as a potential leader in Africa by  the American Embassy in Sierra Leone, on Crossroads African Leaders programme 1987 got an insight into American legal system by travelling all across America from New York through Atlanta, Seattle via Santa Fe to Washington D.C

Advanced Diploma legislative Drafting- 1989 (University, Cave Hill.) of West Indies

Practised in England & Wales after pupillage from 1990

Admitted as a Solicitor in 1997 (England & Wales)

Became a Solicitor-Advocate in 1998 (England & Wales)

Has been practising as a Barrister and Solicitor in Ghana since 1997 specialising in commercial law particularly Trade Marks & Patents. Also, President of Soroptimist, Ghana in 2005 - advancing human rights and the status of women.

Hobbies: Reading Autobiographies of leaders and women, swimming and travelling. Dreaming about writing a book!



                            BIANCA CLINTON

BPP Law School London, Passed the Qualified Lawyer’s Transfer Solicitors Test-2008

Bianca is a vivacious and hard working lawyer who has gained valuable and transferable expertise internationally advising on non-contentious IP (from 2003-2006) and recently gained experience in London working as a Qualified Lawyers Transfer Trainee Solicitor at Cancer Research UK specialising in Trusts, investment funds and Legacy Administration.

Also voted the first female Vice President at Ghana
